Vector is the critical journal of the BSFA, started in 1958. It placed in the Checkpoint Fan Poll for 1971/72, and 1973/74. In its best times, especially between late 1970s and early 2000s, it was roughly bimonthly. It incorporated Paperback Inferno (founded as Paperback Parlour in 1977 as its smaller and slightly nimbler, bimonthly sibling for paperbacks) after its #97 in 1992.
