A slanshack apartment at 417 W. 118th St., New York, near Columbia University, where Eli Cohen and David Emerson lived from June 1971 to summer 1974, with, at times, Nancy Lambert, Jerry Kaufman, Suzle, Asenath Hammond and a number of avocado plants and cats (several of the latter acquired from Janet Kagan). Jon Singer dreamt up the name.
They hosted meetings of FSFSCU on Thursdays. It was the birthplace of Cohen’s fanzine Kratophany.
