The 1994 Worldcon and third in Canada, ConAdian was held September 1–5, 1994 at the Winnipeg Convention Centre, the Crowne Plaza, the Place Louis Riel, and Sheraton in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. GoHs: Anne McCaffrey (pro), George Barr (artist), FGoH: Robert Runte. Barry B. Longyear was Toastmaster. Chaired by John Mansfield.
The Canadian National Science Fiction Convention (Canvention) was held in conjunction with ConAdian — separate membership and mostly separate facilities.
The final day of the convention, Monday, September 5, was Labour Day, but also the start of Rosh Hashana, which meant many Jewish fans either left the con early or did not attend (Winnipeg was a difficult travel destination, with few direct flights from the U.S.).
The newsletter was called Voyageur.
Winnipeg in '94 competed against the L&N bid to win the Worldcon. The 1997 Worldcon Site Selection was held there.
