(???? – ????)
Jean Heitt[1] was a fan from Hollywood, joining the UK's Science Fiction Association by July 1937. A number (in fact, reportedly all) of members of LASFL joined then so it is likely that Heitt was part of that group given the timing and the Hollywood address, even though there are no further mentions in US/LA sources.
Jean as an American/Hollywood name is a priori more likely to be female, even if the SFA did not preface it with a "Miss/Mrs" as it did for many other femmefans. However, a cursory genealogical/census/google search turns up a Mrs Jean Heitt in 1940 only in New York City; certainly more remains to be done.
