MiSdemeanour was the first in a series of UK conventions collectively referred to as 'The MiScons'. It was a largely invitational event held February 4–6, 1994 in The Royal Clarence Hotel in Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset. The organisers were Tony Berry, Helena Bowles, Richard Standage and Martin Tudor. It was described by Dave Langford in Ansible #80 as 'a jolly little convention in the old Silicon mold'.

The central programme item was 'The Trial of Mr Steven Green For Crimes too Heinous to List'. Mr Green was found guilty and was duly 'executed' by Ray Bradbury with a Black and Decker saw as reported in the Birmingham Science Fiction Group Newsletter #270.
