Silicon

Silicon was a relaxacon with some programming organised by Gannet Fandom in Newcastle in northeast England. The convention was held over the England and Wales August Bank Holiday weekend (last Monday in August) from 1976 to 1985, aside from in 1979 when its usual date was occupied by Seacon '79, the 1979 Worldcon. It was to some extent succeeded by Rubicon.
