Revolting Tales of Sex and Super-Science was a fanzine published by John Bangsund in Kingston, ACT, Australia between 1973 and 1975. In its fourth issue Bangsund said it was "published spasmodically and for various purposes" and issues appeared in various APAs as well as independently.
In a summary of his past publishing ventures included in Philosophical Gas 50 (November 1979), Bangsund said of this title:
Revolting Tales of Sex and Super-Science (7 issues) was started for Africapa, but no.2 went to FAPA. no.3 to OMPA. no.4 to FAPA and some unanswered correspondents, nos. 5 and 6 to ANZAPA.[1] no.7 quite possibly nowhere.[2] Leigh lists 1. 5 and 6. No.4 got more response, in the way of letters and mailing comments, than anything I have published since ASFR, and if success in fanzine publishing may be measured by the ratio of response to circulation, this is the most successful fanzine issue I have ever published. I've often looked at it since and wondered what I did right.
Bangsund seems to have overlooked the final issue, numbered 69 and published for FAPA in March 1975. Issue 4 was included in ANZAPA 65 (December 1978), five years after its original publication.
