Irene Korshak (née Odenheimer) was banquet chairman for Chicon II, the 1952 Worldcon. She might not have attended much of the con, though, as she gave birth to her son, Stephen, on June 1.

Born in Karlsruhe, Germany, in 1924, she immigrated to the US in 1939. She became a US citizen in 1953 and died in 1976. She spent most of her career in public health, and worked as an administrator overseeing nursing homes.
