Genevieve K. Stephens, (nee Thorndyke) a fan from Alma, Michigan, active in the 1940s and ’50s, was a member of the Vampire Society and the N3F. (In the society’s Fancyclopedia 2 entry, Dick Eney describes Stephens as a “later-famous femmefan,” but doesn’t say what she became famous for.)
She wrote stfnal poetry for a variety of fmz, besides publishing her own zines. Her work also appeared in such newspapers as as the Lansing State Journal and The (Port Huron) Times Herald, as well as magazines.
She married Frederick Stephens in 1935.
