Frank Owen
(1893 -- 1968)
Frank Owen was a pseudonym of Roswell Williams known for his Chinese fantasies, many of which were published originally in Weird Tales.
Williams edited some anthologies, also under his Frank Owen pen name, including Fireside Mystery Book (1947), that included fantasies by John Collier and Sax Rohmer.
In addition to Frank Owen, Williams published under the pseudonyms of Hung Long Tom and Richard Kent.
His The Porcelain Magician, published by Gnome Press in 1948, contained 14 fantasy stories, with an introduction by David Kyle.
Other Frank Owen genre books included The Purple Sea (1930) [collection of 11 fantasies], Rare Earth (1931) [oriental fantasy novel], The Scarlet Hill (1941) [historical fantasy], and The Wind That Tramps the World (1929) [7 fantasies].
