Florence Russell, a onetime Los Angeles fan, joined LASFS on February 27, 1964.
She was married to Samuel D. Russell, actifan and undercover FBI agent. They moved to Reading, England, in 1972, and attended meetings of the London Circle. She was fondly remembered for her Christmas Eve parties.
