FilkCon III (aka FilkCon West) was a filk convention held June 5-7, 1981 in Los Angeles. GoHs were Buck Coulson and Juanita Coulson. According to Margaret Middleton, Catherine MacDonald, Paula Lieberman & others, it was at the LASFS Clubhouse. It has sometimes been conflated with other, later filk conventions that took place at the Sheraton Plaza Hotel.
