Fanarcon was a small convention held the December 26-28, 1958 (the weekend between Christmas and New Years) at the Nunnery in Cooper Sq in New York City and sponsored by the Fanarchists. It was basically a weekend long house party. It included a European movie with subtitles, Krakatite, a surreal fantasy by Karel Čapek.
Attendees included Bill Donaho, Dan Curran, Pat Ellington, Dick Ellington, Larry Shaw, Lin Carter, Sylvia White, Ted White, Martha Chone, Dick Eney. Attendance was around 50.
