(Did you mean a different Eclipse?)

Eclipse was a fanzine published by David Copping of Chemsford in the UK.

Australian Science Fiction Review #11 (August 1967) carried a capsule review of an unspecified issue:

One shilling per issue, or for letters of comment, etc. Contains fan fiction, good editorial, general articles.

Ethel Lindsay wrote at greater length about #1 in Haverings #23 (July 1966):

A first issue of a fanzine which starts with the laudable attempt at a short and original editorial. The contents are divided between fiction and articles. The articles sometimes read like someone's homework; the best is by the editor on the subject of why he likes sf. I know I am prejudiced against short fiction; but these are so predictable. The ideas are not original, the style is either staccato or flowery, the writers all need more practice. It's odd though, lately fanzines like these have had one thing in common — the editor is the best waiter.

Haverings #24 (December 1966) considered #2:

This contains two pieces of fiction. The first, by BMStableford is too obscure for me to understand, and the second, by Jim Grant is unoriginal. There are fanzine reviews and a letter column. A poem by B.Stableford proves to me what I had suspected from his fiction, he is drunk on words! I wish I could sound more enthusiastic about this zine; but the only thing that I did enjoy was an article on the editorials in sf magazines by Mike Ashley.
