(???? –)

Dennis A. "Denny" Jacques was a UK fan from Nuneaton active in the 1930s. He was a member of the Science Fiction League (SFL) ("First-Class SFL No. 737" according to Wonder Stories as quoted in Then p.26)) and the Science Fiction Association (SFA).

The Nuneaton branch of the SFL, the third in the UK, launched in June 1935 with Maurice K. Hanson as director and Jacques as assistant director. Its first official meeting was held on June 26 at Jacques's home. In March 1936 the group published the clubzine Novae Terrae, the first UK fanzine, with Hanson and Jacques as editors. With the foundation of the SFA at the 1937 Leeds Convention which Jacques did not attend, Novae Terrae became the Association's official organ from 10 (February 1937) and from 11 (April 1937) Hanson alone was credited as editor with Jacques as an "associate editor". He remained in that role until issue 18, shortly after Hanson relocated to London.

Jacques is listed in the Directory of Anglo-Fandom for 1945 albeit marked "not in touch at the present moment".
