The Colin Freeman Fund was a fan fund, also known as Operation Andy Capp, to bring Colin Freeman, a hospitalized fan living near Harrogate UK, to Loncon 2. (Freeman had a serious bone disease and had a sharp sense of humour, hence 'operation 'andycap'.)
The administrators were Ron Bennett in the UK and Dave Hulan in the United States. Skyrack #80A (June 1965) reported that the fund had raised £85 in the UK and $200 in the US, exceeding its target, but Freeman was too ill to travel and the funds were returned to the donors.
