The Carlisle and District SF Group was a group in Carlisle, Cumbria in the 1980s and possibly earlier and/or later. A listing in Matrix #76 (June 1988) described them as:
An isolated [For context, Carlisle is in north-west England, close to the border with Scotland and abut 60 miles west of Newcastle upon Tyne] and very informal group, anyone passing through more than welcome but best to contact either Shep Kirkbride or Malcolm Furness [phone numbers omitted] first. The group usually meets every other Friday at various venues in Carlisle.
It's unclear when the group formed, when it ended (assuming it did), and who the other members were.
