A New York City fan who was part of the Nunnery in the 1950s. He was a member of the Fanarchists and the New York SF Circle and a co-founder of the Fantasy Film Club. He was a professional novelist who wrote one SF novel under the pseudonym Gerald Hatch. He also wrote humorous and satirical material for the 1950s fanzine Inside.
