Trinoc*coN 2005 was held July 15-17, 2005 at the Durham Marriott and Civic Center in Durham, NC. GoH was Joe R. Lansdale, Artist GoH was Charles Keegan, and Gaming GoH was Chris Pramas. Special Guests were Jade Gordon (Comics), Margo Anderson (Costuming), and Dave Arneson (Gaming).

Literary Guests included Davey Beauchamp, Richard Butner, Tonya Cook, Jim Grimsley, A. Leigh Jones, K. A. Laity, Jason Erik Lundberg, Lee Martindale, James Maxey, Jack McDevitt, Robert A. Metzger, Scott Nicholson, Jana Oliver, Michael D. Pederson, Dr. Anne Petty, Stephen Mark Rainey, Laura J. Underwood, Graham Watkins, Bud Webster, and Allen Wold.

Art Guests included Scott Cover, Mike Moon, Ingrid Neilson, Robert Snare, Daniel Trout, and Ursula Vernon.
