Farmercon III
Farmercon III was held at the Lakeview Branch of the Peoria Public Library July 26-27, 2008. There was program at the library on Saturday and an awards ceremony where the Farmer Awards were given out: Jean-Marc Lofficier won the Wold Newton Award, Christopher Paul Carey won the Farmerphile award for best article and Charles Berlin won the Farmerphile award for best artwork. There was a dinner that night. Philip José Farmer himself was too ill to attend, but his wife Bette Farmer did attend. There was a party at Phil Farmer's house on Sunday.
