Edith Furcsik (née Shapiro), a Detroit fan active in the 1940s and ’50s, belonged to the Misfits, the DSFL and the NFFF, according to the 1950 Fan Directory. She was co-editor of The Detroit Stfan.
She married George Furcsik in Indiana in 1939. Hal Shapiro was her brother. Edith died in 1995.
