Fanac in Indiana has occurred largely around Indianapolis. There was a fan group in Fort Wayne around 1940. Newcastle was notorious in the 1940s.

Famed Hoosier fen have included Cosmic Claude Degler, C. L. Moore, Ted Dikty, Marty Greenberg, Ray Beam and Buck and Juanita Coulson, publishers of Yandro. The Decker Dillies were a brief sensation.
