(February 14, 1925 -- July 22, 2008)

J. T. McIntosh was a pseudonym used by Scottish writer and journalist James Murdoch MacGregor. Most of his SF was published under the McIntosh pen name.

His first story, "The Curfew Tolls," was published in Astounding Science Fiction in 1950, and his first novel, World Out of Mind, was published in 1953. He did not publish any work after 1980.

Along with John Mather and Edith Dell, he is credited for the screenplay for the movie Satellite in the Sky (1956).
