(March 19, 1958 – September 6, 2020)

Phillip Lindsay Ware, a Melbourne fan, entered fandom through the Melbourne University Science Fiction Association in the 1970s.

After the death of Roger Weddall, Phil took over as Australian DUFF administrator for 1993–4.

He died after a long battle with cancer, survived by his wife, Mandy Herriot, and their son, Jonathan Herriot-Ware.
