Gary Gygax

(July 27, 1938 – March 4, 2008)

Ernest Gary Gygax was a game designer and author best known for co-creating the role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons with Dave Arneson and founding TSR. Born in Chicago, he spent most of his life in Lake Geneva, WI.
