An LA-area fan and sometimes pro who was focused mostly on comics and movies. (He worked both fannishly and professionally with Jim Harmon.) He was a member of the N3F. With Larry Byrd, he published at least one issue of a fanzine entitled Escape! He was also a rock and roll musician/band leader and actor. In 2021, the Chicago Reader published an article about his life, Ron Haydock was a Renaissance man of trash culture, emphasizing his activities in music, acting, and monster movie magazines. He died when hit by a truck in California while hitchhiking from Las Vegas.
