The 2012 World Fantasy Convention was held November 1-4, 2012 at the Sheraton Parkway Toronto North in Toronto, ON. Writer GoH: Elizabeth Hand, Encyclopedist GoH: John Clute, Artist GoH: Richard A. Kirk. Tanya Huff, Charles de Lint, Patricia Briggs, Mercedes Lackey, and Larry Dixon were Special Guests. Gary K. Wolfe was toastmaster, the dual themes of the convention were "Northern Gothic and Urban Fantasy" and it was chaired by Peter Halasz.
