John Robert Owen was a Liverpool fan, active in the Liverpool Group in the 1950s and 1960s. He wrote for fanzines and acted in MaD Productions movies. He attended all four Cytricons from 1955 to 1958.
He was half the Hurstmonceaux and Faversham writing team behind the Harrison stories, with Stan Nuttall.
