Esprit was an apazine published in London and then Scotland by Daphne Buckmaster. At first it was intended only for circulation in the Offtrails Magazine Publishers Association (OMPA), but with the 13th issue in 1960 Buckmaster decided to make it generally available, launching Random as an OMPA-specific fanzine although that too had outside distribution.
