Eleanor “Ellie” Turner (aka Thompson) was a Los Angeles fan, active in LASFS in the 1950s and ’60s. She was a member of APA-F, for which she published the apazines Gremalkin and, with Bill Blackbeard, Scrimshaw.

She was married to Paul Turner; they had a son, Mark Jeffrey, in 1961, and one more child.
