DeepSouthCon 25 was held June 11-14, 1987 in Huntsville, AL. Attendance was 729. It was chaired by Richard Gilliam and Patrick Molloy. GoH: Robert Bloch, Special Guest: Hugh B. Cave, Artist Guest: Phil Foglio, FGoH: Lee Hoffman.
The Rebel Award was given to Lee Hoffman and Penny Frierson, and the Phoenix Award to Orson Scott Card and Hugh B. Cave. The first Rubble Award was given out at DSC 25 and it went to Guy H. Lillian III. The MC was Ramsey Campbell.
