In addition there was a Special Hugo Category for 2012 Best Fancast Hugo: SF Squeecast, Lynne M. Thomas, Seanan McGuire, Paul Cornell, Elizabeth Bear, and Catherynne M. Valente

Chicon 7 also awarded Robert Weinberg a Committee Special Award during the Hugo Ceremony.
