Site Selection for the 2004 Worldcon was conducted by MilPhil, the 2001 Worldcon. The Bidders were Boston in 2004 and Charlotte in 2004. Boston won with an absolute majority on the first ballot and went on to run Noreascon 4. (There was also a Nieuw Amsterdam in 2004 bid which appeared to be a serious bid, but which did not file.)
