A convention in London, UK sponsored by the Imperial College Science Fiction and Fantasy Society, and running since 1983.
The tradition of a Varsity fish fight, started in 1988, between OUSFG and CUSFS, continues to this day as as a inter-university challenge match. The fish must be defrosted, and the best technique involves gripping it by the gills.
Destruction of dodgy merchandise, with liquid nitrogen and blunt objects, is all too common.
