David John Lally is an Irish fan long resident in London. He was for many years involved with Six of One, The Prisoner Appreciation Society[1], and promoted both the show and the organisation at UK sf conventions. Since 2014 he has been active in the BSFA, serving as membership secretary from 2014–2020 and later as a director, joint co-Secretary and international officer[2]. He has also been involved with promoting Eurocons and has organised at least one Coachcon.

He is known at conventions for setting up what's generally referred to as the "Lally Wall", an agglomeration of hand-crafted notices for forthcoming events with maps and advice, and for organising linking tours between pairs of conventions.

He stood for GUFF in 2020.
