The London Minicons were a series of one-day conventions held in a small hall at the base of William Dunbar House in West Kilburn, London, the building where Ella Parker had a flat. They were organised by the Science Fiction Club of London (SFCoL).
The first was seemingly a success and a follow-up was announced in June 1968, even though the SFCoL had effectively ended in May. However this second iteration was cancelled late in the day due to lack of interest.
Convention | Dates | GoHs | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
London Minicon | November 1967[1] | Ted Carnell | 'Mystery guest' Earl Kemp |
London Minicon 2 | November 23, 1968 | James White | cancelled |
- ↑ Probably. Oddly, there's no record of when it happened beyond that it was written up in the London Newsletter #5 (November 1967).
