Eastercon 45, Sou'Wester, was held in Liverpool during Easter 1994. The GoHs were Diane Duane, Neil Gaiman, Barbara Hambly, Peter Morwood, and Thog the Mighty. The committee were Marcus Streets, Rhodri James, Ben Brown, Chris Bell, Gary Stratmann, Sue Edwards, and David V. Barrett. Like Eastcon is suffered the fate of Eastercons with directions in their name, as it had planned to be in Bristol. Liverpool is only in the SW of the UK if you are very Scottish. The convention defeated the Contact bid.
