More fully the Sheffield University Union Science Fiction & Fantasy Association, it was a club at Sheffield University in Sheffield, UK which existed for a few years in the early 60s. There was a clubzine, Entropy, but it quickly died.

There were only a few members at first -- too few to fill all the offices and committee positions -- so that Brian Jordan, one of the founders described the club as having "a committee of eight and a membership of one."

After a short life, the club merged with the school's astronomical society and became the Sheffield University Science Fiction and Astronomical Society or Astrosoc.

This is a club page. Please extend it by adding information about when and where the club met, when and by whom it was founded, how long it was active, notable accomplishments, well-known members, clubzines, any conventions it ran, external links to the club's website, other club pages, etc.

When there's a floreat (Fl.), this indicates the time or times for which we have found evidence that the club existed. This is probably not going to represent the club's full lifetime, so please update it if you can!
