Joyce Slater (née Teagle) was a British fan who joined the British Fantasy Library in 1948. She was associate editor of Operation Fantast.
She married Ken Slater in 1948 and with him was FGoH of Conspiracy '87, the 1987 Worldcon. They worked together running a Dealers' Room table for many decades.
Note: there is a Joyce Slater who contributed a story to The Futurian #8 (Spring 1940) called 'The Time Machine'. This must be a different person as she was still Joyce Teagle in 1940 and probably didn't even know Ken.
