Starting in December 1971, Tankon, a small gathering -- a relaxacon -- of SF fans who were nearly all members of Slanapa, was held in Tangent, OR at the residence of Mike Horvat. It continued annually until at least 2008, though at some point it moved from December to the summer and moved out of Horvat's house to other venues.
Regular attendees included Horvat, Frank Denton, and Steve Johnson.
