Peter Duncan was the fannish nom de plume, according to FictionMags Index, of B. M. (Butler Markham) "Buddy" Atkinson, Jr., columnist and writer for TV shows including The Beverly Hillbillies.
He co-published Science Fiction Forward with Ray Van Houten, with whom he also attempted to launch the Intellectual Brotherhood of Pro-Scientists.
His comments in Science Fiction Collector about the death of Robert E. Howard appalled H. C. Koenig, who wrote:
