The Magic Carpet Magazine was a continuation of the small pulp magazine Oriental Stories.
As The Magic Carpet it was published from January, 1933, to January, 1934, for a total run of five issues. The publisher was Popular Fiction Co., Chicago, Illinois; the editor was Farnsworth Wright.
When The Magic Carpet folded, its unpublished stock of fantasy and weird fiction stories were published in Weird Tales, its companion title.
