"The Bixel"?

Yerke wrote (as Fassbeinder) that "'The Bixel' is the name of a most hideous, outre, other-worldly building up the street some hundred yards from the LASFS club room", describing it as a four-story building in which each story protruded further than those below. He was certainly rude enough about the building—describing it as a Lovecraftian horror—that it might have been Tendril Towers. But do we have enough information about the architecture of the real-life Tendril Towers to match up this description? Or, given this drawing, should we regard the implausible architecture Yerke described as part of the Lovecraftian horror he implied? Bee Ostrowsky (talk) 13:04, 14 March 2023 (PDT)
