Talk:First Thursday

This page was initially a redirect to London Circle but that doesn't seem right. I've discussed it with Rob Hansen and we both feel the topic does need to be a separate page. The London Circle was a (fairly informal) club meeting on Thursday and during the time of its activity it and the London meetings were synonymous. However, the London Circle formally ended in 1959, and had no meaningful existence by any metric after the late 1960s, and the pub meetings have continued for over 60 years without it.

This change obviously involves quite a bit of ancillary work redirecting entries. Once that's done I'll rewrite the London Circle page to make it about the London Circle and remove references to the post-LC meetings on the First Thursday. --Mark Plummer (talk) 05:25, 19 March 2025 (PDT)
