Sydnie Steele (née Krause) is a Chicagoland conrunning fan. She has worked on several Worldcons and been part of Worldcon and NASFiC bids.

Sydnie began attending conventions at a very young age — she is a second-generation fan, the daughter of George and Dina Krause. At Bucconeer, the 1998 Worldcon, she and two young friends won a prize for their Three-Headed Monster masquerade costume.

Sydnie is married to Chris Steele and has two children.
