The pseudonym of Steve Rune Lundin, a Canadian novelist, who was educated and trained as both an archaeologist and anthropologist.
He is best-known for his ten-volume epic fantasy series Malazan Book of the Fallen, which began with the publication of World Fantasy Award finalist Gardens of the Moon in 1999, was completed with the publication of The Crippled God in 2011, and was a finalist for the Best of the Decade Aurora Award in 2017.
