Site Selection Ballot

The Worldcon site selection ballot is created by the site selection administrator after the bid filing deadline has passed.

It typically is a two-sided document, with one side containing space for voter information and validation markings on the top two-thirds and instructions on the bottom, and the other side containing instructions and information on the top two-thirds, and the voting ballot on the bottom third. This arrangement allows the ballot to be validated during Site Selection ballot counting without the vote being visible. Once validated, the top and bottom parts are separated so that votes can be counted without any knowledge of who they are from.

The ballot itself contains spaces for each bidder which provided a timely and valid bid filing, plus a space for a write-in, a space to indicate no preference, and a space to indicate that no bidder is acceptable.
