Science Fantasy Fan
The Science Fantasy Fan was a British fanzine by Arthur F. Williams which was nicknamed Stan. There were three issues.
The fanzine was hand-lettered. In Futurian War Digest #11 Williams was quoted as saying 'I think I can confidently say that the ish after next (no.5) will be typewritten – not hand-printed – as twas/is now'. However, it seems that even #4 never appeared, let alone #5. A 'last minute news flash' in the same issue of FWD reported that Williams was ill and had been hospitalised. 'This will mean the and of Science Fantasy Fan and Art his turned over all the material on hand to Harry Turner for his Zenith. We weep!'
The implication of the British Fanzine Bibliography is that The Unique Magazine, starting in October, was a continuation of or perhaps combined with The Science Fantasy Fan.
