Rovacon 8 was a convention held October 14-16, 1983 At the Hotel Roanoke in Salem, VA. The GoHs were L. Sprague de Camp, Catherine Crook de Camp, George Takei, Jean Rogers, Frank Kelly Freas, and M. A. Foster.
