Raymond C. Higgs (known as Racy), a fan who lived in Connersville, Indiana, was a member of The National Fantasy Fan Federation (N3F) and a member of its Board. He was editor of the club's principal clubzine during 1947–49, and then again in the 1950s. For a time, he also edited Postwarp. He received the first Kaymar Award in 1959.
Higgs was very active in fandom during the 1940s–50s, belonging to SAPS, NAPA, FAPA, and VAPA. His many activities in fandom are chronicled in Harry Warner's All Our Yesterdays (1969) and A Wealth of Fable (1992).
